After lunch, explore Paro’s treasures including the National Museum (Ta Dzong) and Rinpung Dzong, cycling-friendly attractions that offer deep insight into Bhutanese history and culture. Stroll across a centuries-old wooden bridge before your Bhutan trip briefing.

Start pedalling along a gentle gradient ideal for bike touring in Bhutan. The road winds past emerald rice paddies, pine forests, and chorten-dotted hillsides. Enjoy a riverside picnic before cycling into Thimphu via the Bridge of Prophecy and the historic Semtokha Dzong.

Discover the National Memorial Chorten, Changangkha Lhakhang, and the School of Arts and Crafts where Bhutan’s 13 traditional arts thrive. Visit the National Library, Folk Heritage Museum, and the Takin Reserve before ending at Tashichho Dzong.

Visit Wangduephodrang Dzong before driving and optionally cycling over Pele La Pass (3,420 m). Stop at Chendibji Chorten before arriving at the commanding Trongsa Dzong.
